Itinerary

Days 1- 3              San Francisco

Discover the ultimate foodie destination, enjoy fresh crab or seafood chowder at Pier 39, ride the cable cars, visit the seals who call the historic Fisherman’s Wharf home, venture back in time to Alcatraz, take a bike ride to the Golden Gate Bridge, visit the Napa Valley or Sonoma County, your dreams will be fulfilled in this magical city  – there are so many things to see and do.

Days 4 - 5             Monterey and Carmel

Take the scenic route and make sure you visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium with its giant kelp forest and sea otters on the edge of historic Cannery Row. Explore Carmel-by-the-Sea and discover a 250-year-old tree!

Days 6                   Big Sur

Where the mountains meet the sea, this famous coastal drive is full of dramatic scenery along a largely uninhabited stretch of coastline. Admire the spectacular views, explore the redwood forests, and enjoy a lazy lunch gazing over the coast on the wonderful patio at Nepenthe.

Day 7                    San Simeon

Gateway to Hearst Castle, conceived in 1919 by William Randolph Hearst, it has 165 rooms and 123 acres of gardens, terraces, pools and walkways yet remains unfinished! Hearst Castle and its stories is a fascinating glimpse into history.                      

Day 8                     Santa Barbara

As you arrive into Santa Barbara you will be left wondering if you have been transported to a Spanish city. This city doesn’t lack history, everywhere you look history, art and culture oozes. On a nearby hill, Mission Santa Barbara, founded in 1786, houses Franciscan friars and a museum. The Mediterranean feel and tree lined streets set the perfect scene for an Urbane Wine Trail, a spot of shopping or a long lunch in one of the fabulous restaurants.

Days 9 – 12          Los Angeles

They say New York is the city that never sleeps… Have they been to LA? The city that offers so much. Discover your inner thrill seeker at Universal Studios or Disneyland, set your inner pretty woman free and shop Rodeo drive, walk the pier at Santa Monica Beach, or if you want to simply unwind check out the farmers markets and local yoga offerings at Marina del Rey.
