Q: Why do people choose Travel Architects?
Our clients choose Travel Architects because we understand that people have different ideas about their travel and holidays. We work with you to understand where you want to go, what you want to do and how you want to travel. We combine this with our experience and knowledge to tailor your travels to you.
Q: Must I purchase Travel Insurance?
We pride ourselves on our on the ground support. For all small group holidays, we require a copy of your travel insurance prior to departure. We strongly urge all tour participants to purchase travel insurance when they pay their tour deposit.
For independent travel we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance at the time you request us to make your bookings.
Q: Will I need a Visa?
Visa requirements vary for different nationalities and depend on the countries visited during the tour. Visa advice is given with each tour reservation pack.
Q: Can you organise customised tours for our group?
We are delighted to design and arrange special customised tours for families, friends or likeminded groups wanting to travel together.
Q. Can I pay by credit card?
Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Surcharges apply. Each tour Reservation Pack contains a credit card authorisation form.
Small Group Tours
Q: Tell me about your small group tours and travellers.
We established our small group holidays as we understand that not everyone has a built-in travel companion. Our small group holidays suit those who would like companionship and security but who have a relaxed approach to travel, enjoy going off the usual tourist tracks and want to experience the real country. Who will you be travelling with you ask. We have travellers from 18-80, those who want to get out explore, discover and dream.
Q: I do not have a travel partner. Must I pay the single supplement?
Our prices are based on twin-share accommodation. Travel Architects do not match share partners however if we know that another solo traveller of the same gender is interested in sharing, we offer to put you in touch with each other. If both agree to twin share we require written confirmation of that agreement from both parties. Otherwise we regret that the single supplement applies.
Q: How mobile to I need to be for the small group tours
Our tours are designed for travellers with a reasonable level of fitness and often include some walking. We often use smaller boutique accommodation which may not have lifts or ground floor rooms and as such there may be stairs to your room. This said, we want to accommodate your needs as best we can. So, if you have a mobility issues let us know, we will see how we can help.
Q: Is there much walking on your tours?
Our tours will generally include some walking and a reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required. If you have a mobility problem or concern, please contact us to discuss the tour and your requirements.
Q: How do I make a booking?
